The Bloody Ploughman

Apart from the great name - this apple supposedly sprung from the heart of a ploughman shot for scrumping - it also tastes terrific. It also is packed with nutrients - anthocyanins - according to Julian who is a food and nutrition expert who happened by our apple tasting last night - that is in the red bleed in the skin and through the flesh

This apple is from Perthshire - but again this is picked and seems to grow very well in Glasgow ..
